WHAT TO WEAR GUIDE

START WITH YOU, MOM - Start with your outfit first. Find a piece that you will feel flattering in that gives you freedom to sit, walk, squat, twirl, pick up your children, etc. I have found that a longer dress flows beautifully for family portraits.

COORDINATE AROUND YOU - Once you have chosen your favorite outfit, coordinate your children and your husband around what you are wearing.

PAY ATTENTION TO PATTERNS - You will want to stay away from very busy stripes. In general we do not want to overdo patterns in your family photographs. Try not to have more than two family members in patterns. Solids and textures for everyone else.

THE FINISHING TOUCHES - Details matter, a clean pressed outfit, clean shoes, matching socks, shirts tucked in, and belts. Please remove hair ties from wrist, remove wallet and phones from pockets. Never underestimate how these finishing touches add personality and the perfect polish looks.

MY FAVORITE COLORS - yellow, green, ivory, red, navy, gray, black, and a pop of color.

MY FAVORITE TEXTURES AND PATTERNS - cashmere, corduroy, boucle, lace, suede and gingham.
